Easter Weekend = Osho Weekend
It seems Easter Weekend is going to be an Osho Weekend in England.
Croydon Hall in Somerset is holding their spring
meditation weekend (April 6-9 – "with live music from the festival band One Hand Clapping") and
Sw Arun is coming from Nepal to lead a
meditation weekend near London.
During the past two years Arun was invited to do some meditation events in Russia and many took sannyas as a result. One of the new
sannyasins is Chetna who was so touched by Arun that she has arranged a
four-day meditation 'camp' (April 6-9) followed by a
meditation weekend (April 14-15) here in England.

A Visit to Croydon Hall
After a journey to India, a move to a new cottage and now mobile with a new car, Veena has
finally been able to re-visit this beautiful meditation center in Somerset and is reporting from there.
Visiting
Croydon Hall a few days ago I found the place to be a bustling hive of
international activity! Sarita was doing one of her Tantra groups and Amlas
and Atmo had flown in from Africa to assist her. It was great
to see them before they take off again next Wednesday for Bimini, USA, to
get ready for the next season of Wild Quest (see
Profiles this week).
Supriya, a young Latvian sannyasin, (see the
Art Gallery) was down from
Newcastle visiting Samadan (from Italy). I found that Anahato (French), one
of the divine cooks, was really an artist so he will feature in the next
edition of OSHOinUK.
On Monday there was farewell lunch cooked by Tara. She
is a chef supreme and both her pasta and cake were amazing.
She and her partner, Vijan, have worked at Croydon Hall at various times
over the last 3 years and will be sorely missed by everyone. They go to the
Czech Republic to visit their families for a month before rejoining Amlas
and Atmo in Bimini to help with the next season's program.
Amitabh has just arrived back from a six week trip to India yesterday and
Akhila has flown in from Germany to take Vijan's place. Now that Tara has
gone a new cook will be needed although only from the end of April and also
a new Houskeeping Manager from the end of May.

on The Dhammapada.
-
Bhagwan, The Movie (48 min), a film document made by Robert Hillmann in 1975.
-
Osho, The Rising Moon (33 min), unique recordings of Osho's earliest phase.

Project O-Shoah
The organizer of the
Osho Film Festivals, held in Europe and USA, has also started a project where he captures interviews on video of people
who have known Osho personally. Manik calls the project O-Shoah
(Shoah is the Project initiated by Steven Spielberg who, after completing the movie
Schindler's List, realized that not many survivors of the concentration camps are still around to tell the story). Manik thinks that in giving
testimony to a man like Osho, he should have the same attention, if not more. You can contact Manik at:
