A Visit from the East: Tamo-San. Veena writes: "I was recently discussing climate change with my brother and suddenly started
telling him about the mysterious visit of a Japanese enlightened woman to Osho in Poona in 1988 and my subsequent visits to her in
her beautiful little temple in Enoshima. He was uncharacteristically silent when I finished and then said, ‘You must write
that down. It is such a beautiful story, it should not be lost!’

A new project, that of checking and transcribing Osho’s earlier discourses
is underway, and many sannyasins have been contacted to participate in it. They will undoubtedly experience a new way of listening to
Osho’s words: with total focus and alertness, and they will love to hear from Veena how Osho was directly involved in the editing
and design of these early books, at times even writing whole paragraphs to complement his spoken word.
Read and enjoy her historical article as well as our last year's
news item about the research paper by Neeten which gives a fascinating and different view on Osho and
his books.

More than 40 meditators gathered at Croydon Hall over the weekend of 21-23 September for the
Osho Meditation weekend, Seeking the Pearl with Maneesha. One of the comments was: "It was what I was looking for –
something to give me that push that I’ve been lacking for a few months to get into a daily practice. It’s built that
momentum now to keep going on."

Photos of Krishna Prem’s Celebration this morning (15th September)
and ‘Australian’ Garimo’s letter to Veena about the events: "Simply beautiful event at the hall at Mevlana
this morning: silent meditation for about an hour or so before Sourabh read out KP’s eulogy (written by him of course).
As she said: "This takes seven minutes to read if you’re not crying!"

"With all the rumours, newspaper reports and debates about the Samadhi
in the Resort in Poona it seems to me it is all rather a lot of hype about not very much."
