Ashburton seen from Space Upstairs

A Reiki student during one of the workshops run by Yatro
‘The Space Upstairs’ is the creation of Devon sannyasins, Chetan, carpenter, and Diana, artist. Chetan, a carpenter supreme (made the famous round table and bar at Croydon Hall among many other things), bought an industrial unit in Ashburton with the idea of having his workshop downstairs and a meditation space upstairs. He beautifully refurbished the upstairs space which Diana organises – offering meditation events, e.g. a meditation day, and an aesthetic space for other people to use as a venue since last year. There Yatro runs a bi-monthly ‘Singing for Fun’ group and Neo-Reiki Weekends and Diana has done Art Therapy events.
The Space Upstairs, in Ashburton, Devon – sharing a pot luck dinner after one of the monthly live satsangs – musicians’ corner – Mike and Christoffer
Popular amongst West Country sannyasins is the monthly Satsang organised by Yatro and Surabhi. Up to 20 people gather for this event for which Surabhi, Yatro and other musicians provide live music. After Satsang people stay to meet and eat together, sharing a pot luck dinner.
