Celebrations at Pankaj Meditation Center

Ma Pramila
Pankaj OMC is the oldest existing Osho centre in the UK. In 1979 Pramila and Bharti decided to invite other people to join them in doing Osho's meditations in their house in Wembley, London. People kept on coming and so Pramila and Bharti have continued to organise regular weekly meditations and special events for the last nearly thirty years. Such devotion to their Master!
There are regular meditations every Sunday from 3.00 pm when people do Nadabrahma or Nataraj, Kundalini, and then watch an Osho video discourse on a huge TV screen recently donated by some grateful sannyasins. Pramila said that one of the highlights of each evening was her now famous Indian chai, appreciated by all.
Special events are also arranged – for example, Ma Jyoti, who published the beautiful small book of Osho's letters to her called A Cup of Tea, and Sw Arun from Nepal, have led meditation days there. A week ago, to celebrate Guru Purnima, one of the most important Indian festivals, Sw Bagmar came from Poona to lead a day of meditation and celebration. Thirty eight people managed to squeeze themselves into Pramila and Bharti's house. Fortunately the day was fine so people could spill out into the garden!
I asked Pramila if she had problems with the neighbours when so many people arrive all at once but she said that her neighbours were very understanding and totally accepted the situation. Pramila said she would like to rent a place for the bigger events because they are attended by sometimes as many as fifty people but, as we all know, costs in London are so high that it becomes very difficult.
Both Pramila and Bharti are now in their seventies and I was deeply touched that they are still so dedicated to spreading Osho's vision.
