Osho Summer Celebration at Croydon Hall

It was a rather soggy celebration this year, in keeping with our summer of rain. Spirits, however, were as high as always and we all enjoyed re-connecting with old friends and meeting new ones. The band was particularly beautiful and led us both into silence in the satsangs and evening meditations and into joy and celebration in the lounge and Rinzai Hall where we danced the night away.

Tarisha and Surabhi and ‘One Hand Clapping’ inspiring everyone to dance in delight – Keep on dancing... – click on pictures to see a bigger version

A great new idea was to set up the bar in a tent outside Rinzai Hall. The striped awnings really added a festive feeling of occasion and fortunately the rain kept away for awhile so everyone could socialise – Nishok’s garden stories – with an appropriate prop – The Double Dutch Dylan Duo, Kundan and Agyan, singing, you guessed it, Dylan songs – click on pictures to see a bigger version

The brilliant international Croydon Hall Boy Band with Samarpan (Italy), Arpana (North Africa) and Sampurna (Czech Rep.) on vocals and Devakant (Italy) and Rafal (Poland) on guitar – The Drumming group entertaining us with their newly acquired skills. Awesome! – click on pictures to see a bigger version

A new event this summer was a variety show with a sequence of acts of astonishing talent! Very much enjoyed by everyone!

Again we all felt that unfathomable Osho connection between us – a connection of joy, of love, of contentment and something much more, something simply impossible to put into words.

Again many thanks must go to the Croydon Hall crew for all their hard work in so graciously making such a beautiful celebration happen.
