Summer Festival 2006 at Croydon Hall
During the past weekend (8-9 July 2006) about 100 people (not all sannyasins!) gathered together at Croydon Hall in Somerset for another beautiful Summer Celebration. This time the celebration lasted 4 days – there was a White Robe meditation each evening and a Satsang each morning with live music by our superb band &slquo;One Hand Clapping&slquo;. They also gave us a great dancing party on Saturday night.
Apart from enjoying the idyllic country setting of Croydon Hall in glorious sunny weather, people could join a painting group in the garden with Prakati or a theatre group with Prageet. The theatre group gave a beautiful performance on the last day, based on the Osho quotes used in the Satsangs. Inspiring!! Yatro led a Heart Dance on Saturday afternoon and everybody enjoyed singing those songs.
As usual, the food was fantastic!
We thank all the people at Croydon Hall for all their hard work in making it such a beautiful occasion.They were professional and mega-efficient but they did everything lovingly and laughingly from their hearts and created a joyous event for all of us.
